Canada New England Cruise Symposium – CLIA Leads Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is the world’s largest cruise association and is dedicated to the promotion and growth of the cruise industry. CLIA is composed of 24 of the major cruise lines serving North America and is an organization that operates pursuant to an agreement filed with the Federal Maritime Commission under the Shipping Act of 1984 and serves as a non-governmental consultative organization to the International Maritime Organization, an agency of the United Nations. Student Youth Travel Association (SYTA) The Student Youth Travel Association (SYTA) focuses on a specialized segment of the travel industry. There are over 100 tour operators and travel agents who are members of SYTA who plan trips for youth and student groups, including educational tours, and band and choral performances. National Tour Association (NTA) The National Tour Association (NTA) is a membership based organization that represents a variety of companies and bureaus involved in the packaged travel industry. Their membership includes some 600 tour operators, 2,300 tour suppliers (i.e. hotel, restaurant, attractions), and 800 destination marketing organizations. The NTA annual convention
is the association’s largest events, attracting thousands of delegates over five days each November.

American Bus Association (ABA) The American Bus Association (ABA) is a trade industry association that comprises intercity bus and motor coach owners and operators, as well as other elements of the travel industry related to motorcoach tours and transportation. The association represents the interest of the motorcoach industry. There are over 1,000 members of ABA
consisting of motorcoach and tour companies in North America who charter, tour, regular route,

Ontario Motorcoach Association (OMCA) The Ontario Motor Coach Association (OMCA) is
one of the largest travel and tourism-related associations in Canada, and is the voice of private
sector bus operators, inner-city bus lines, charters and coach tour companies in Ontario. OMCA
has over 1,200 members and represents more than 75 bus operators, over 100 tour operators
and some 800 affiliated sellers to the group tour industry including attractions, destinations,
